During the MATTER event at Chicago’s Tech Week, the class of 2016 attended a talk from iVenture alumni Mayank Kale, incoming computer science senior and cofounder of Invoq Health. He lent some encouragement to startup teams facing their first bouts of failure as he shared stories about his venture’s various roadblocks along the way and how they went about finding a solution. His ability to relate to the teams about the ups and downs of having a student-run startup was a great starting point for productive conversation. He advised the teams to utilize the unique opportunity that iVenture provides to broaden networks and build relationships with those who can advise them.
