iVenture is the educational accelerator for top student startups at the University of Illinois

The iVenture Accelerator enables student-led startups to create economic and social value by supporting student entrepreneurs with knowledge, funding, and access to world-class University of Illinois resources and alumni.

Launched in Summer 2015, the iVenture Accelerator supports a class of the universities top student startup teams to spend the summer on campus with the time and support they need find product-market fit, build prototypes, pilot programs, build key partnerships, and scale. Whether you are creating a technological innovationsocial venture, or cultural campaign, this accelerator equips you with the time, space, resources, and mentorship necessary to turn your idea into a scalable venture.

Early-stage Financial Support

$2,500 stipend per Fellow and up to $10,000 in seed funding per startup + over $300,000 worth of resources for early stage ventures.

Expert Coaches and Advisors

Great startups need great advisors. We link our teams to rockstar entrepreneurs, VCs, professional services firms, and University subject matter experts.

Co-Working Space

A full-equipped co-working space at Temple Hoyne Buell Hall designed to maximize productive collisions between Fellows and the broader community.

Workshops and Office Hours

A range of workshops taught by our community of experts, including esteemed faculty from the Colleges of Business, Engineering, Fine and Applied Arts, and Social Work.

Clear Accountability

Combination of Fellows, Coordinators, Coaches, and Advisors support each startup to drive progress towards accomplishing milestones.

Engaging with Chicago Startup Ecosystem

Visits to mHub, 1871, Chicago Innovation Exchange, Matter, Chicago TechWeek, and other startups.
