Our funding is non-dilutive. No equity is taken. You own everything you work on. $10,000 in capacity funding. Additionally, $2,500 stipends for 4 full-time team members.

Program Fellowship Opportunities

Design Fellow

As the Design Fellow, you’re the cornerstone for how good our materials look and will look. Our promotional material, social media posts, website, and more — we do a lot that requires design work. We do good work, and it’ll be your responsibility to make our work look good. 

  • Create high-quality graphics for social media, newsletters, flyers, brochures, posters, RSVPs, and other promotional content (in collaboration with other fellows) to pique people’s interests about iVenture programming.
  • Redesign existing print or digital materials as needed to ensure a consistent brand experience.
  • Lead the design of our brand as it’s seen in our slide decks, social media, and website.
  • Support the iVenture teams in making clear, concise, and credible documents such as pitch decks, executive summaries, websites, and other communications.
  • In collaboration with the Data Fellow, create quantitative infographics that visualize the progress iVenture teams have made, factors that contribute to their success, as well as collecting data to determine the efficacy of the program + identify opportunities for improvement.

Photography Fellow

The Photo Content Fellow’s work will be the foundation for all of iVenture’s visual material. From social media posts, banners, brochures, website, reports, all the way to visuals that external press can use — the Photo Content Fellow will have a lasting impact on iVenture’s visual brand. In collaboration with the Social Media Fellow, the Video Content Fellow will be responsible for creating an engaging brand on all relevant platforms.

  • Attend iVenture events and capture high-quality photos.
  • Give people a behind-the-scenes and insider view of what happens at iVenture.
  • Document the summer iVenture experience from demo days, day-to-day work, social events, pitch events, and more.
  • Collaborate with other fellows to deliver high-quality photo assets for marketing, social media, and communications purposes.
  • Take headshots, product photos, and other photo content that iVenture teams may need.
  • Edit and retouch photos to ensure high quality and consistency with the company’s brand.

Social Media Fellow

The Social Media Fellow is at the helm of our online presence. In collaboration with the Design, Photo, and Video Fellow, you’ll be responsible for making iVenture Accelerator the account to follow.

  • Collaborate with the Design, Photo, and Video Fellow to create a world-class social media presence for the iVenture Accelerator.
  • Understand the ins and outs of all iVenture events and build a content calendar to highlight the entire summer experience — covering all of our teams, students, and alums.
  • Work with the Assistant Director to manage social media strategy.
  • Manage all social media accounts: Twitter, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Keep track of metrics across platforms and adjust content creation strategy as needed.

Work with other fellows to ensure a consistent brand experience.

Videography Fellow

The Video Content Fellow is a content creation rockstar. From short-form vertical videos to long-form recaps, the Video Content Fellow will be the community’s eyes into what we do at iVenture. In collaboration with the Social Media Fellow, the Video Content Fellow will be responsible for creating an engaging brand on all relevant platforms.

  • Give people a behind-the-scenes and insider view of what happens at iVenture — document the summer iVenture experience from demo days, day-to-day work, social events, pitch events, and more.
  • Come up with ideas and create Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube content.
  • Edit short videos, such as product videos, promotion videos, and product demo videos.
  • Have experience with color grading.
  • Edit program videos (lectures, speaker series, workshops, etc.) for distribution and publishing.
  • Keep up with social media trends and select relevant ones for iVenture to partake in.
  • Keep in touch with the Gies MarCom team to see where the iVenture community can be highlighted in the College’s video-focused productions.

Writing Fellow

As the Writing Fellow, you’ll help develop the voices of our cohort. From helping venture teams to your fellow Fellows, you’ll be the steward for all written content that showcases what happens at iVenture. Across all the work we do, there are many different value propositions for many different industries and many different audiences — you’ll learn to share so many unique stories in ways that resonate.

  • Write profiles and pieces on iVenture startups for blogs, social media platforms, e-news articles, websites, etc.
  • Help share the journeys of startup teams and founders, with a focus on the skills and competencies they gain through the program.
  • Write about the iVenture program as a whole — our successes, initiatives we’ve taken up, our learnings from the program so far, events, etc. — for our blog, newsletters, and press releases (in collaboration with the Assistant Director).
  • Support iVenture teams in making clear, concise, and credible documents such as pitch decks, executive summaries, websites, and other communications.
  • Collaborate with the Gies MarCom team.

Also help out relevant Fellows with:

  • Marketing and outreach: Help create necessary content and collaborate on what content to create and push to the iVenture community.
  • Events: Create compelling copy for all external-facing material.
