Raj Echambadi, professor of Business Administration and Assistant Dean in the College of Business, kicked off our summer’s faculty-led workshops today with a very foundational presentation on business model canvas and business planning.

He shared with Fellows the Business Model Canvas, a tool that will serve as a common framework upon which our Fellows can map their own venture strategy, and learn about the inner workings of other ventures in the group.

Each team mapped their own business model on 2 x 3 foot canvases that are now hung up in their work areas. We anticipate these to change and evolve as the summer continues, and we’re excited to see the evolution of our diverse sets of businesses and nonprofits.
