Following their talk with Sean Chou, the iVenture teams made their way across the hall to 1871, a startup space in Chicago’s famed Merchandise Mart. Divided into groups of like disciplines, the students broke off to talk to executives and receive advisement, share stories and receive much appreciated feedback.

iVenture makes it a priority for as many helpful perspectives to meet their amazing students, so, as everybody reconvened to after their meetings, they were met with top investors! During this time, we heard from three iVenture startups as they pitched their company. The investors asked useful questions, gave their feedback on the company and presentations, and then the evening was opened up for networking before we headed back to Champaign. It was a perfect way to close the second trip to Chicago!
