6/10 | Customer Development with Jed Taylor, Assistant Director of TEC
Jed Taylor, Assistant Director of TEC and experienced entrepreneur, came in to the Accelerator space today to round out Week 1 with a talk on customer development. He shared with Fellows the very popular Lean Startup process that encourages moving between customer understanding and building with frequent iterations. This process encourages focused action in service of satisfying customer needs, and will be used to guide iVenture Accelerator startups work in the 9-week summer session.
Teams revisited their customer pain points, shared with the entire class, and identified strategies to increase their customer understanding– Already, we’re seeing teams schedule visits with disability, fire departments, University students, and hospitals to increase their understanding of their users and customers.
